How to Grow Healthy and Strong Nails!

Hey besties! Have you ever wanted to grow long nails that won’t break??? Me too!! today I’ll be sharing with you my tips to grow nails that are healthy and strong!

Lifestyle

If you want to grow your nails, you never want to use your nails as tools. I mean don’t use them to open a bottle, to grab anything, etc. this can cause breakage. you also don’t want to keep your nails in water too long especially warm or hot water. Water causes the nails to become flimsy which can make your nails break off so take quick showers when you can and use gloves if your doing the dishes. Also, don’t use a nail clipper, only use a nail file going in one motion not back an forth. This can also take time! Don’t expect to have super long nails within a week.

Hard Work:

Step 1: find good cuticle oil. Step 2: use it at least three times a day. Step 3: use extensions or rubber base. Using extensions, gel, or a rubber base can add strength to your nails. My sister gets an acrylic overlay at the salon which strengthens her nails! You can use gel x, acrylic, Hybrid gel, builder gel, dip, etc. My favorite way to grow long nails is to use the gel x method (the tutorial for that will be my next post (: ). Although a lot of people suggest builder gel (which I’ll make a video on). and in just a couple months you can go from:

tHiS: πŸ’…πŸ½ TOOOOOO: THISSSSSS: πŸ’…πŸ½πŸ’…πŸ½

I hope you guys found this post helpful and easy to follow! my next post will be the tutorial for gel x and my tips to get them to last! Hope you have a great rest of your day and I’ll see you next time!! byeeee besties!!!! πŸ™‚

6 Thoughts.

  1. this is sooooo helpful! my nails are CONSTANTLY breaking and i could definitely use some tips, thanks! also, what cuticle oil do you use???

  2. I was curious about which cuticle oil as well.
Also, don’t you have to wash dishes, etc, at home? Do you really use gloves?

    • I try to use gloves as much as possible. if i do come in contact with water then it wont do damage its just you will have to be more careful for a little bit since thats when they’re the least strong and can easily break. Its just an extra kind of precaution. Hope this helps πŸ™‚
